How to get started - Student Feedback - 2006/11/17 12:00 When selecting a teacher for English Lessons you might find the following checklist useful:
1. Do I have headsets for the lesson ?
2. Do I have a webcam that is enabled ?
3. Can I connect via Messenger, Skype software ?
4. Do I have high speed internet connection ?
5. My learning objectives - e.g. inter English, conversational skills, pronunciation with specific interests in Drama, Music and Telephone skills
6. Suggest a range of connection times to permit flexibility in time zone access
7. Get to know a bit about your teacher at the interview to share common value sets i.e. you may both have a love of music or architecture
8. Highlight any strengths and weaknesses to your teacher as it will assist in compilation of the lesson plan
9. Above all have fun! learning a language should be a light hearted, enjoyable and rewarding process

Your teachers are here to help you in achieving your goals. By ensuring that you are prepared will improve your overall learning environment.
