Hi Jaga,
I would just like to add a few items to the excellent response provided by Archana. When arranging your interview with one of the Teachers you will find it helpful to provide:
1. An understanding of your
objectives e.g. I would like to learn conversational business English, I need to improve my pronunciation, I need to focus on specific business needs - telephone skills etc. This will help your teacher customise a lesson plan that will match your specific language needs.
2. Try to advise the Teacher of your
current language status - Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced learner. This will assist the teacher in getting the balance right for your initial lesson plan
3. Advise the Teacher of your
hobbies and interests. In this way the Teacher is able to customise the lesson plans in order to make them an enjoyable experience. Learning is also about having fun!
4. Ensure that you conduct a full connectivity test with your teacher before commencement of Lessons.
I hope that these few extra pointers are helpful to you. Good luck with your learning experience
